All Stars DVD

I made an attempt to make a DVD for all of Emily's soccer memories this year. She is having a talent showcase at school and needed something that is 3 minutes or less. I had to delete a lot of it but here is my first attempt....not too bad!

Lauren's Academic Night

Great job Lauren! This past Thursday Lauren had Academic Night for her school. If you get all A's you get recognized for your academic performance. You can get the recognition when you start 4th grade. This was Lauren's second year. We are so proud of her. I think back to when she was little and was worry about her in school. What was I thinking!

Drew plays T-ball!

I finally took a few pictures of Drew in his uniform. What a site to see! He is so cute and really has started to learn part of the game anyway. We are so lucky to have my mom and JD here to support him. He loves to see everyone there cheering him on.

Another Weekend in Prescott

Well....this is Emily's last tournament for the year. We really enjoy the families from her team. As much as I miss having our weekends free, I am going to miss watching her play. The team played really well today even though they lost both games. In the first game she has 2 assists and they lost 4-3. It was a great hard fought game. The wind was literally blowing 40-50 miles per hour. We all have wind burn. In the second game we lost 5-1. Emily had a corner kick that went in. Everyone was literally standing there watching because I don't think anyone thought it was going to go in. Right now we are at the team party. They girls are having a fun time playing games and the adults are playing the Wii. We thought the girls would like to play it but the adults started and haven't quit yet!! We still like to have fun.

Weekend in Prescott

What a fun weekend we had in Prescott this weekend! It is so fun to watch Emily play soccer. Only one more tournament to go. It is so hard to sit and watch when they are getting beat up on the field. By the end of the 4th game 4 or 5 of the girls were injured and didn't play much. It was kinda sad to see them all limping, holding limbs or not feeling good. We definitely need healthy girls for this weekend. On Saturday night, the team went out for dinner and bowling afterwards. They seem to really have fun. Hopefully next weekend will be better results but I hope we have fun!

Drew was about to drive us nuts! There were cones, which he LOVES and had to have his own set of, that he took everywhere. I wanted to throw them away! It got so bad that he was BAWLING because another kid wanted to play with one of them. Not take them all, just one. Then after the last game on Sunday a referee threw her flag in the garbage and out it came. Now Drew carries it everywhere. I even had to tuck it into bed with him on Sunday night. All we hear is OFFSIDES and he throws his flag up. UGH!! Drew is definitely all boy!

Wow...where has the time gone!

I didn't realize it has been a few weeks but we have been busy!

* Drew started T-ball. How fun to watch. He is getting better at each game he plays. I still haven't gotten any pictures yet but dang is he cute in his uniform.

* Lauren finished up her soccer. She is getting a new coach next year. Lauren is definitely ready for a break. It has been 10 months of soccer at least 2 days a week. YEAH!!! Lauren is going to Orlando next weekend. We are too boring for her so mom and JD are taking her to Aunt Robin's. She is so excited to help with the horses!

* Emily's soccer is just about finished too. We are going to Prescott this weekend and next weekend. I am sad to see her team finish up. They are great to watch. Emily keeps begging us to let her drive. NO WAY from me! Andy can be the brave one but not me yet!

My computer crashed and I didn't realize how much I use and depend on it. What is so weird is that the day before it crashed Drew was sick. I didn't do preschool that day so I had a few extra hours and decided to back everything up on my external hard drive. What made me do that?? I am sure glad I did. I had so many good bookmarks but lost them all AND my emails! OH MY GOSH!!! I will get it back together.

I love this unit in preschool. We are doing caterpillars and butterflies. They have changed from caterpillars into their cocoons. A few more days and they will be butterflies. Each child took 2 home. They are so excited for this process too!!! I gave some to some friends that have younger kids too. We really don't need 20 in our house!
