My Little Zebra

Tonight was Drew's program at school......OH WERE THEY CUTE! He danced his parts with Olivia, a girl from church, that he loves. We have been so blessed with FABULOUS teachers. Mrs. Fultz is an amazing teacher. She had Emily when she was in 2nd grade. What a great foundation she has given Drew. We could never thank her enough for all she has done with our kids. She is PRICELESS!

Emily

I love my sweet Emily!

As I sit and ponder about the next few years, I am sad to think that Emily will be leaving home. I am so proud of the young woman she has become and the great example she is to others. Emily wants to serve a mission, adopt from Africa, be a pediatric oncologist....need I say more about the great person she has become.
I love you Emily more then you will ever know. Your dad and I are so proud of you.

Mr. Bug Go Away!

The sickies have been going around our house!

Andy started it for a few days last week....it quickly moved to Drew. He was out of it for a five days.....fever, slept almost all day, kept complaining of a stomach ache. On Saturday, Andy took him to the doctor because he still had a fever. 3 hours, influenza test, strep test, urine infection test....all came back negative. He was sent home and told to come back on Monday for blood. I think Drew knew what that meant and started getting a little better. He still isn't back to normal but at least playing/eating.

Well...today I got a text (don't tell anyone) from Lauren during school. She went to the bathroom to tell me she didn't feel good - she started not feeling well on Saturday. So I ran up to the school to pick her up. She came home, took a LONG nap, woke up and snacked, took another long nap.

Please Mr. Bug.....go away. Nobody else wants you in this house!

Whale Watching

There is not much to say except BREATHTAKING! It was amazing. We took a short "cruise" on the Star of Honolulu. It was the best time (except seeing my family)...I would almost rank it up with snorkeling. Only 5 minutes into the trip and we found a mom and baby humpback. I wanted to stay there the entire time just to watch them. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I still get excited just thinking about it. We ended up seeing 5 or 6 total....none breeched/jumped out of the water but just seeing them was all I needed. That just leaves us more of a reason to go back soon!

On the way back to the port there were activities for us to do if you chose to. They had lei making, hula lessons, ukulele lessons. Drew and Emily did a GREAT job making their leis!

Ready to go back....but we need to wait a month or two. It takes a few days to get back into the right time zone!

We LOVE you Hawaii! See you soon!
