BRACES!!!!

Well....today was the day. Lauren got her braces on. She looks so stinkin' cute!!! The sad part is that she has to have oral surgery to pull her canine teeth down since they are coming in sideways and damaging her permanent teeth next to them. The surgeon will drill a whole in her gums where the teeth should be coming in and put a chain on it so Dr. Couser can pull them down over time. Lauren is kinda stressed about being put to sleep. Tonight she said to me....mom can I take these off..they hurt....I don't need to have straight teeth. I was so sad for her.

Sad day for us yesterday

It was quite a sad night for us. Our sweet Kate ran out the front door when the kids went out to play after school. I wish I would go on my gut feelings because at about 4:00 I noticed she wasn't around but I thought she was up sleeping with Andy. Well....now I know. She had just escaped. Drew was in the bathtub when we realized for sure she was gone. He starting crying..."I am never going to see Katers again." It was pretty sad. Lauren had a melt down not understanding why I couldn't drive around for 6 hours looking for her. We did our best, drove around for about 1 hour, put up over 25 signs, put out lost dog ads on different sites. I hope someone has her and will call today. Allie is even sad. She won't come out of her kennel. We love her and the kids miss her so much...okay....I do too. Hopefully we will have good news today. (We found Kate)

I finally did it!

Well....I finally made a blog for our family. Thank you Laurie for helping!! As I find time I will add things to it. Check back to see what is new with our family.
